currently has the follow vacancy in either Cairns or Townsville
TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANT
You will be responsible for developing new business with existing and new clients building strong relationships, maximizing sales whilst ensuring that all clients are fully satisfied with all aspects of the service delivery. Ideally you will come from an engineering background and be self driven with a customer focused attitude. This role offers technical challenges, travel within tropical North Qld and client account management.
The Role:
- Develop strong relationships with existing customers, identifying business opportunities and providing support/solutions.
- Oversee product trials and communicate results effectively to internal and external; key decision makers.
- Provide a high level of technical support and advice to customers through site visits and general communication.
- Follow-up and monitor customer deliveries.
- Conduct market intelligence.
You Must Have:
- Strong communication skills.
The ability to read & interpret technical drawings.
The ability to achieve sales targets.
The ability to liaise with consultants and design engineers to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Power point and CRM software.
