The Groundwork Group History & Profile

The Groundwork Group is a locally owned group of three companies: Groundwork Services Pty Ltd, Environmental Engineering Sales Australia Pty Ltd and BML Groundwork (formally Bill's Mini Loader and Earthmoving), with offices in Cairns and Townsville and has developed specialist skills and resources to cater for the individual needs of its clients since 1995. After initially entering the market in 1989, the company has provided services to a diverse range of customers by providing Environmental Engineering solutions across Tropical North Queensland.

 

The Groundwork Group of companies evolved first by the establishment of Groundwork Supply Company Pty Ltd in 1995 which became Groundwork Services Pty Ltd. Bill's Mini-Loader and Earthmoving, an estabished earthmoving company, now BML Groundwork, joined the group in 2006. In 2007 Environmental Engineering Sales Australia Pty Ltd was formed to supply innovative environmental products.

 

The group of companies aims to cater for the demand of specialist installations and supply of various environmental engineering products.

 

Since then the company has worked with the Mining Industry, Queensland Department of Main Roads, Queensland Rail, numerous Civil Contracting Firms and Local Government Authorities across the region. Groundwork Services specialise in Environmental Protection, Earth Stabilisation and Retention and Stormwater Management.

 

The Groundwork Group represents World Class Manufacturers and supports Government Agencies, Local Authorities, the Mining Industry and Contractors.
